This retractable pickup bed cover is a wireless operation using a remote keyfob…just press a button to open and close the cover, which locks in any position along the rail using an electromagnetic brake. 

The operation and installation process remains the same as the standard Retrax cover with one exception; the electrical components require a connection to the battery. The Powertrax also has an integrated cargo light on the canister that is operated by the remote keyfob…the light has an auto shutoff feature.  The wiring information is included with the standard installation instructions.  

The Powertrax Retractable Pickup Bed Cover is available for short bed models only.

RETRAX model LM-5.5 or LM-6.5 have rails that are notched to fit the chrome factory bed rails.
